Yayoi Kusama: EVERY DAY I PRAY FOR LOVE offers a rare chance to experience a new Infinity Mirrored Room – Beauty Described by a Spherical Heart and introduces works from the artist’s latest series of paintings and sculptures installed across Gallery I and our waterside garden.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, visitors need a free, timed ticket to enter the exhibition. This is due to the small scale and intimate experience inside the Infinity Mirror Room. Book your ticket here.
How much do tickets cost?
Timed tickets are free and are strictly non-transferable and have no commercial or resale value.
Victoria Miro (via ARTSVP) is the only authorised ticket issuer.
How many tickets can I book?
Each visitor may book a maximum of two tickets for a single visit.
Do children need a ticket?
All children over the age of two years will need a free, timed ticket. Children under twelve years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive for your allocated time, otherwise we cannot guarantee entry. You may need to queue outside the gallery for a short time before entering.
What happens if someone returns their ticket?
Returned tickets will automatically be made available on our booking page here. Vistors are most likely to cancel their tickets on the day, so please check the booking page for returned tickets on the day you wish to visit.
Is there a waiting list for tickets?
We do not have a waiting list, but you can check back on the booking page for returned tickets here.
Is the exhibition accessible?
Entry to the exhibition is step-free. The exhibition takes place across Gallery I, which has a ground floor gallery and an upper floor gallery. The ground floor gallery is fully accessible. The Infinity Mirror Room is located in the ground floor gallery, and is designed to enable wheelchair access and provide sufficient turning space. The upper floor gallery has no lift and is not accessible to wheelchair users and visitors who are unable to use stairs.
How much time can I spend in the Infinity Mirror Room?
At busy times, due to the many visitors we will welcome into the gallery, each person’s time inside the Infinity Mirror Room may be limited to allow for a large number of visitors to engage with the work.
Do any of the works contain flashing lights?
Yes, flashing lights feature in the Infinity Mirror Room.
Can I take a buggy inside the Infinity Mirror Room?
Buggies may not be taken into the Infinity Mirror Room, children under two years will need to be carried. Buggies may be left on the gallery’s garden terrace.
Can I take photographs?
Photography and filming on your phone for personal use is permitted. Flash, tripods and selfie sticks are not permitted.
Is there a cloakroom?
There is no cloakroom: please do not bring large bags. Handbags and small rucksacks are permitted.
Is there a café?
The gallery does not have a café.
Is there a book shop?
There is a small book shop selling artist books and merchandise.
What other art is available to visit?
From 4 October you will also be able to visit an exhibition by Jules de Balincourt. The Brooklyn-based artist continues his exploration of painting as an intuitive process, resulting in fantasy-like worlds in which landscapes and seascapes interplay with more abstract works.
ACCESSIBILITY
Victoria Miro has two spaces, Gallery I and Gallery II. They are in adjacent buildings, linked by a waterside garden. Access to all three spaces is step-free.
Yayoi Kusama: EVERY DAY I PRAY FOR LOVE is on view in Gallery I and the waterside garden. Jules de Balincourt is on view in Gallery II.
Gallery I comprises a ground floor gallery and an upper floor gallery. The ground floor gallery is fully accessible. The Infinity Mirror Room is located in the ground floor gallery, and is designed to enable wheelchair access and provide sufficient turning space. The upper floor gallery has no lift and is not accessible to wheelchair users and visitors who are unable to use stairs.
The waterside garden is fully accessible.
Gallery II is fully accessible. It is located on the second floor and there is a lift.
