Curated by Danniel Rangel, the exhibition (27 August– 4 November 2023) comprises a single installation, developed especially for the architecture of the historic mansion.
Speaking about the exhibition the artist comments, ‘In this new project I had the opportunity to explore a unique space, a mansion with challenging architecture… I conceived an installation that comes to life in the rooms and expands, scales walls and invades the garden through the window, creating a sense of explosion, but in a welcoming way. The idea of this work follows other works I developed during the pandemic, in which organisms escaped through windows. This relationship with the earth reflects a deep desire to be grounded, to reinforce the importance of returning to nature and to expand the symbolic roots of my work.’
