Bringing together portraits by 46 female artists who choose women as subject matter in their works, including María Berrío, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Chantal Joffe, Alice Neel, and Paula Rego, Women Painting Women is on view at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Texas until 25 September 2022.
Spanning the late 1960s to the present and international in scope, Women Painting Women recognises female perspectives that have been underrepresented in the history of postwar figuration.
