Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Art Basel Hong Kong (Booth 1C21) with a presentation of new and historical works by Milton Avery, Hernan Bas, María Berrío, Inka Essenhigh, Secundino Hernández, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Chantal Joffe, Yayoi Kusama, Doron Langberg, Alice Neel, Chris Ofili, Celia Paul and Flora Yukhnovich.
Among important historical works on view are paintings by Milton Avery and Alice Neel. Two works from 2018 by Yayoi Kusama are united by a vibrant palette of green and black. PUMPKIN is a painted bronze sculpture, its curvaceous form adorned with tapering patterns of dots that create a sophisticated geometry. The painting INFINITY DOTS [QGFUU] is almost abstract, its dotted vertical forms pulsing with optical energy.
New and recent works on view include paintings by Chantal Joffe, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Doron Langberg, Celia Paul and Flora Yukhnovich.
